Fall 2014 Teen Writing Workshops

Online Middle School Writing Group: Tuesdays, September 9th - November 11th, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, $275
Online High School Writing Group: Every other Monday beginning September 15, 8-9 pm, 6 meetings, $165

Looking for a supportive online teen writing group? Join our online community for one hour every Tuesday (for middle schoolers) or every other Monday (for high schoolers). Fall sessions begin early September. We'll meet online via Google Hangouts to:

• do guided writing exercises during each meeting
• share your writing in a supportive atmosphere
• receive encouragement and constructive feedback for your writing
• focus on fiction, nonfiction, or poetry—your choice!
• get to know other teen writers
• bonus: receive additional writing exercises to do independently, at your own pace

Workshop Cancellation Policy

100% minus $45 registration fee up to five weeks prior to start of workshop. 75% minus registration fee up to four weeks prior. 50% minus registration fee up to three weeks prior. 25% minus registration fee up to two weeks prior. No refunds given within 7 days of start of workshop.

About the instructor:

Deborah Davis, MFA is the author of three award-winning novels for young people and instructs the popular Summer Teen Writing Workshops in Berkeley, CA. She has taught writing in person and more recently online to children, teens, and adults for 25 years. In addition to teaching, Deborah offers private writing consultations, manuscript editing, and college essay coaching.
