In this weekly summer reading and writing group, we’ll read fabulous fiction and talk about what we loved, what we hated, and how the authors create exciting plots, characters, and suspense. Inspired by the authors’ great skills, we’ll do some writing of our own. The Summer Fun Read and Write groups are for kids who love books and writing as well as those who haven’t yet caught the reading and writing bug—but are willing to catch it! This camp will spark or fuel your child’s love of reading and writing—and the benefits will spill over into the school year. For your convenience, choose either the Tuesday night online or Wednesday night in-person group. The Tuesday online group meets via Google Hangouts.

Minimum 6 participants per group

Tuesdays Online: Tuesdays, June 20 through Aug 1 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
